The Seibu Giken of today traces its roots back to July 1965, when our founder, who was working as a researcher in the Faculty of Engineering at Kyushu University, established Seibu Giken Technology Research Co., Ltd. with the primary focus of accepting commissioned research projects from other companies. As the business environment changed and the focus of our business transformed over the years, we have established solid positions in both the domestic and global markets by providing air treatment solutions including equipment based on our unrivaled core technology and related services.

We continue to solidify our position as an essential key player in the world by pursuing values that exceed customer expectations, contributing to environmental conservation and energy-saving, and contributing to the development of leading-edge technologies on a daily basis, and strive to achieve our purpose.

My important mission as the President of Seibu Giken is to pass on to the next generation the ideas embodied in our corporate philosophy of “Creation and Fusion,” which pay respect to the uniqueness and creativity of each individual and progressively integrate them into every dimension of our business. I also believe that our long-term vision of becoming “a company that continues to grow for 100 years” can be realized by cultivating an environment and culture of openness and mutual enlightenment as the foundation from which each and every employee can constantly tackle new challenges without fear of failure.
